La Ville City Walk

The hotel has so much natural light in the lobby and is situated in the very trendy City Walk area of Dubai. We wanted to keep a young and fresh feel but with elements of a classical feel, nothing so modern that it would date.

We had an interesting brief as the headboard artwork had already been selected by others and we had to develop the guestroom artwork around it. We commissioned a series of paintings bringing in simple earthy tones but with a hint of Arabic culture. These unique paintings were then reproduced as prints exclusively for use in the hotel guestrooms.

The lobby is all about the accessories. We sourced vases and artefacts from the local market, flew in Murano glass bowls and commissioned a number of Origami gold birds.

Graze steakhouse restaurant has a fantastic mural on the ceiling that we developed and was executed by a locally based artist who used a variety of collage and spray paint to create the desired effect.
