Situated in Dubai’s vibrant and stylish City Walk district, La Ville Hotel offers a relaxed, boutique experience filled with natural light and effortless charm. The lobby, bathed in sunlight, immediately sets the tone for a space that feels fresh, youthful, and timeless — a balance we carefully worked to maintain throughout the art curation.

Ophelia Art Consultancy was brought on board with an interesting brief: the headboard artwork in the guestrooms had already been selected by others, and we were tasked with developing the surrounding art collection to complement it seamlessly.

We commissioned a series of original paintings in simple, earthy tones, subtly infused with Arabic cultural references. These bespoke pieces were then reproduced as high-quality prints, used exclusively in the hotel’s guestrooms to create a cohesive and thoughtful environment.

In the lobby and public areas, the story continues through carefully sourced accessories. We curated a collection of vases and artefacts from local markets, imported Murano glass bowls, and commissioned delicate origami gold birds, creating layered visual interest and a sense of global craftsmanship.

For the hotel’s Graze Steakhouse, we developed a bold, dynamic mural that spans the ceiling — executed by a talented locally based artist. Using a mix of collage and spray paint, the mural brings an urban edge to the restaurant while maintaining the artistic thread that runs throughout the property.
